Steve March-Tormé
Finger snapping jazz
Steve March-Tormé’s live show “Snap, Sizzle, Pop!” is finger snapping Jazz standards, cleverly crafted original songs, and enduring pop tunes presented in captivating, charismatic style by a singer whose extraordinary voice both smolders and electrifies. Backed by a sizzling trio or quartet, Steve’s brand of pop-jazz is served up with wit, charm, and a warmth that will leave your heart singing.
He also performs Tormé Sings Tormé: a tribute to Steve’s dad Mel which features an all-star ten piece band with arrangements by Mel and Marty Paich, and an audio/visual presentation, featuring never before seen photos and video of Mel and Steve performing together.
In addition, he is now offering two different symphony pops concerts; “Bernstein to the Beatles, Mercer To Mel,” a project he and his musical director, Steve Rawlins, spent four years developing, and his Holiday Pops Concert, a collection of holiday classics including Let It Snow, I’ll Be Home for Christmas, Winter Wonderland and of course his father’s iconic The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting).
