Kalkutta

Known for her deep knowledge of a myriad of genres and formats, Kalkutta is a sought after, New York-based turntablist and producer. She has performed on Saturday Night Live, Ellen, Good Morning America, Live with Kelly, America’s Got Talent, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. When not appearing on television, she’s working at New York’s highest-profile nightclubs and venues, including the Metropolitan Museum (where she DJd, among other events, the opening of the museum’s Warhol exhibit), 1Oak, The Boom Boom Room, Mister H, Riff Raff’s and WIP. As she prepares to release her own EP in 2017, the playlists Kal curates for brands like Complex and Teen Vogue are increasingly peppered with her own material- outside of writing for artists like Halsey and Sevyn Streeter, she’s done official remixes for dance artists Krewella and Clean Bandit.
