The DixieLand Band

The Dixie Rascals perform the timeless music of New Orleans and Chicago, nattily attired in traditional vests and straw hats: looking as though they’re straight off a sternwheeler from the Mississippi River, they romp through the rich heritage of American song, including Dixieland favorites and the best of Tin Pan Alley.
Dixieland music is tap-your-feet, clap-your hands, grin-on-your face fun music, and the Dixie Rascals bring that spirit of Mardi Gras and Fourth of July parades to every event they grace. Indoors or out, large event or more intimate setting, the joy of Dixieland appeals to everyone, and the Dixie Rascals have proved that they’re perfect for corporate receptions or any promotional event.
The basic quartet includes tuba, banjo, trumpet and clarinet; for a stage setting, piano, drums and trombone can be added. The Dixie Rascals can perform with amplification or stroll through a venue in a more traditional acoustic style.
