Elayne Boosler
Elayne Boosler has had multiple appearances on NBC’s The Tonight Show, HBO’s Women of the Night, and Disney Goes to the Oscars. She wrote customized material for Barbra Streisand to use on her tour and she was also the host of the popular game show, Balderdash. In 1985 when the cable networks would not let a female standup have a special, she financed her own comedy special Party of One and blew open the gates of TV for female comedians.
